The CPD Program is a continuous, flexible, self-paced program designed to enhance your knowledge of Australia's space sector, and increase opportunities for you to connect within it. Build your public and professional profile with a range of educational, outreach and engagement opportunities.
We understand the space sector covers a broad range of professions. Our program is therefore designed to allow people from a diverse range of employment and skill areas to participate.
The CPD Program is comprised of 3 Pillars (described below).
Participants are required to undertake activities from each Pillar to receive their certification:
Pillar 1 (Education) - one activity per year
Pillar 2 (Outreach) - two activities per year
Pillar 3 (Engagement) - three activities per year
Certification lasts one calendar year from the time of completion. You can renew your certification each year by undertaking the required activities for each pillar.
To become certified in consecutive years, participants must undertake four activities from each of Pillars 2 and 3,
OR one activity from Pillar 1 and three activities from Pillars 2 and 3

Student - $300
NOTE: Students must be studying full-time.
CERTIFICATION
Upon completion of the requirements for all Pillars, you will receive a digital certificate, demonstrating your participation.
Education is a key component to boosting knowledge within the space sector. It will allow you to enhance your own knowledge, upskill or even encourage a change to that career you've always wanted in the space sector.
Education can come from a range of sources, such as University and TAFE and can come in many forms such as Micro-Credentials, degrees, certificates and short courses. Content must enhance your ability to contribute to the space sector.
Public Outreach activities are desgined to increase the publics awareness of space, increase participation of Australia's young people in STEM and space activities.
The Outreach activities will allow you to hone your science communication and public speaking skills, and provide opportunities to enhance the profile of your own work.
Increasing your connectivity within the space sector is an important step in growing your career. To facilitate this, you will participate in engagement activities such as networking events, conferences, workshops, seminars and more.
